Commitment agreement recorded on land title No. 3226 (Pedra Dourada/MG Land Registry), permanently designating the Reserva do Tico-tico as an RPPN — the protection is bound to the land itself, not to its owner.

Formally recognizes, at the municipal level, the Reserva do Tico-tico as a Private Natural Heritage Reserve (RPPN), based on the responsible biologist's technical report and approval by Pedra Dourada's Municipal Environmental Council (CODEMA).

Pedra Dourada's municipal law establishing the legal framework for recognizing RPPNs within the municipality — the basis for Decree No. 017/2024.

Associação Tico-tico: Acolhimento, Reabilitação e Soltura de Animais Silvestres – ATT, a private nonprofit association, in active standing with Brazil's federal tax authority.

A track record of accountability
The association already raises and reports on funds from Brazil's Federal and State Public Prosecutor's Offices (Ministério Público) — an institutional funding model that has already withstood public-sector scrutiny before any private donor gets involved.
The legal foundation documented above — which protects the reserve and authorizes the care of its 33 animals — already exists today. That same foundation is what the quarterly financial report presented just below will rest on.

Quarterly financial reports
Starting in Q4 2026 (October–December), the reserve will begin publishing a quarterly financial report on this page — income, expenses, and what sustained operations during the period — for recurring donors and corporate partners. This is a commitment starting from this date, not a practice already underway: no report has been published to date. The first one, covering October–December 2026, will appear here as soon as the quarter closes.
